J and I ventured out over the long weekend and hit up a couple hikes on the island. There's nothing like getting in some awesome cardio
and seeing some beautiful sights.
The first hike we did is called Koko Crater Stairs. It's 1048 steps to the top. But absolutely worth the views.

The next hike we did was called Manana Trail, which ends at Waimano Falls. Part of this trail is called "Cardiac Hill" because coming back up is pretty tough!

I love that we live on such a beautiful island with so many different and gorgeous hikes! Can't wait to hit up some more, soon!

My best friend's husband was stationed in Hawaii and I got a chance to visit her and I LOVED that Koko Crater hike! That one part where you have to crawl the stairs like a ladder was terrifying though! I don't know how people run those stairs with such ease. That hike is one of my favorite memories from my Hawaii trip.
Oh why oh why did I look/read your post! Happy for you but I am SOOOOOO jealous right now. It's -2 degrees here and absolutely frigid! Warmth sounds AMAZING right now. ;)
those are some seriously gorgeous views!
wow, seriously words are not enough!! I have been trying to get us to move to colorado for awhile now because I want more time in nature just like this!!
NICE!!!! Love it!
Love your shoes too :)
I'm 100% sure I would die if I attempted either of these hikes...kudos to you girl.
Those are some gorgeous hikes! I've been seeing your pictures and they have been making me long for a trip to Hawaii (especially since it's so cold on the east coast right now!!). There's a chance we'll be spending some time in Hawaii over the summer which I'm so excited about!
Oh my goodness, we have a lot in common! I am an Army wife and a Longhorn and we just moved from Oahu 1 1/2 years ago. We lived in Kailua for almost 2 years while the hubs was stationed there! It's truly one of our favorite places on earth. How long have you been there?
How lovely! Yes, it is so nice to get out and enjoy the beauty wherever we happen to live.
Wow beautiful!!! Where I live is flat flat flat. No view like that!!

Those views are amazing. And the hike looks so similar to one here in Santa Barbara that also ends in a waterfall.
I'm new here, so not sure where you are but sounds like Hawaii? Wherever it is--beautiful! I love hiking. Envious of your surroundings!
Stunning! I love hiking- but somehow even though I have enjoyed hiking in some beautiful places, I am not sure anything compares to the islands.
Gorgeous photos! I really miss hiking-- there aren't many options around us right now. Enjoy it for me! :)
One of the things I miss abt living in Hawaii, we would go hiking every weekend. It was one of my favorite things to do. Koko head is killer but totally worth it!!!!!
Gorgeous photos! Makes me want to go on a hike with my husband.
